Portland CSA
“Would you like a full or half share?”
Our Portland CSA is a traditional farmer’s choice weekly share. This means that it has been pre-made by us: you just get out of your car and grab your packed bag. It’s fast, convenient, and interesting to discover what veggies we’ve put inside. CSA customers have said “It feels like Christmas every week!” Or “I feel like I am on the show “Chopped” and love trying to figure out how best to utilize everything!”
Weeks & Dates: The Summer 2026 CSA will have 24 Tuesday pickups at two locations on the Portland peninsula. The CSA begins May 12, 2026 and continues until Oct 20, 2026.
Size: A mid-size share (Pick-9), a portion of offerings for households that eat a mixed diet.
Price: $800. The value is high. Check the average price per item, against prices in the CO-OP or the farmers market. By giving up the element of choice, you get a lot of break on price.

We are so lucky to have great site hosts in Portland. These establishments were happy to go into partnership with us, to distribute shares to CSA members. Every one of them is a friend, and we are ever grateful for their willingness to help us and work with us. We encourage you to consider patronizing these restaurants any time you can!
Our Summer 2026 Portland pick up locations:

TBD, West End Neighborhood
Pick up is Tuesday, 4 pm to closing time (please check site host's hours). Please pick up on Tuesday, hosts will donate shares left over at the end of the night. If something comes up, please contact the site host for their willingness or ability to make arrangements.
We have been offering this sort of package all the year round, since 2020, and have had great responses.
-People are often surprised at both, so many foods they've never tried or even heard of, and also foods they did not know we could grow in Maine's climate!
-Value! Most people have called the share "generous" and not only appreciate the value, but usually find that they eat more vegetables, because there are so many vegetables around. We hear it again and again from folks, and is that not just a best case scenario. All of us could stand to eat more vegetables, and less (fill in the blank).
-Reliable, routine… people find it super easy, to put their trust in us, and go pick up their share, same place, same day... no shopping list, no hemming and hawing at the co-op. A nice no brainer approach to healthy fresh food infusion into the diet!
-Freshness and seasonality are unbeatable. Organic. Every share you get was picked the day before. Every bit of it is from right up the road, in season, and organically produced.

Joining is Easy
To become a member, just fill out the form bellow and mail us a check. We do not accept any electronic payments. You’ll get an email from us about your upcoming share that will be waiting for you at the pickup location you’ve chosen. You CAN get there from here!
